Structural Engineers

INTERTECH Advanced Building Design (ABD) is a department that is integral with all of our services. The department focuses on a holistic view of structural engineering that utilizes interoperable data in Building Information Models (BIM) for 5-D analysis (3-D with (VE), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design ( LEED ), and constructible solutions that consider project scheduling requirements.

The department is proud to have representation in the following areas that recognize INTERTECH's leadership in BIM and structural engineering.

• Structural Engineers Association of Texas, Chair of the State IT Committee that is focused on the use of BIM in structural engineering.
• University of North Texas (UNT), Construction Engineering Program' s Advisor Board involved in incorporating BIM into the institutions curriculum.
• Repeated guest speaker and author of articles in BIM.
• Teaching one of the first engineering classes in the nation in Revit Structure in an award winning program at UNT.
• Requested by UNT to aid them in developing a BIM course to be included in the institutions graduate degree in Construction Administration.
